We are commanded by Jesus to touch the world.  "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations..." (Matthew 28:19-20)  We don't all have the means, the talents, or the gifts to be missionaries, but we can help support those who do have the gifts and are reaching the world for Jesus.  Our Faith Promise not only supports national and world-wide missions, but also supports some local missions where we can get personally involved.  We impact our world through our Faith Promise.

Faith Promise is an extra gift of love that you give over and abo e your regular offering for the Church.  It is a promise you make to God to support His work.  We ask that you speak to God, pray for His guidance and decide how much you should promise.  No one needs to know your commitment;  It is between you and God.

You may think that you can't give to Faith Promise.  You may think that you don't know where you could possibly find another dime in your budget.  But that is why the word "Faith" is in front of the word "Promise."  Faith Promise is a promise of mission support that you make to God, having the faith that He will provide.  Paul tells us, "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see."  (Hebrews 11:1)  You may not see how you can give, but have faith that God does.

We are also told, "Remember this:  Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously." (2 Corinthians 9:6)  Those who have tested Him by faith can testify to the blessings they have received.

"God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work." (2 Corinthians 9:8)  Ask God what He would have you give that you may abound in every good work.
